It all began with email marked in respect of poor status of Rugby at Wesley College and how we can help to regain the lost prestige & honour of yesteryears.
 

Then couple of emails were exchanged and the boys decided enough is enough it’s time we give back to the Alma Mater who we dearly loved. 
 

Dubai the Hub & the Buzz of the Middle East was the venue for the Inaugural Meeting of Wesley Alumni Dubai M/E on Friday 18^Th of July’08. 
 

To unite in one Fraternal Band of Double Blue , a meeting was convened at  408 Emirates Airline Apartments Al Ghaisais [Mr. Sharman Mouffer’s Residence]

 Aims & objective of the Wesley Alumni Dubai M/E are as follows,

·         To raise funds invite and receive contributions on half of college.

·         To provide assistance for the Recreational facilities & improve the conditions/ Standards of Sports in College.

·         To take part in Sports Events/tournaments held in the UAE/Middle East.

 The following Committee was unanimously approved by a gathering of 22 members. 

• President- Mr. Sharman Mouffer.

 

• Secretary - Mr. Rezzanno Jaldin.

 

• Treasurer- Mr. Gavin Moonesinghe.

 

• Events Coordinator - Mr. Mohamed Faizal Devananda.

 

• Consultants/ Advisors - Mr. Sri Kanagasabapathy, Mr. Mark Perera, Mr. Muhunthar Ratnadurai,

 

Alumni to be officially affiliated to the College & respective governing authorities…………………. The College Principal is already aware of this body and approves of same.
